A-LABEL

A-label – your guarantee for a pure product

Whenever you choose an A-labelled product, you receive a product even small children can use safely.

When purchasing an A-labelled product, you can be certain that your product does not contain any substances that interfere with the body’s hormone balance, heavy metals or allergenic substances above the triviality limit. These products contain neither perfume nor other scents.

The A-label does not only comply with legislation, but goes one step further to meet the following stringent requirements:

The product does not include any substance that interferes with the hormone balance (defined in EU legislation)

Butyl and propylparaben must not be used

The product does not contain any perfume or other scents

The product complies with the legislation on release of the smallest possible amount of heavy metals

Allergens may only be present in very small amounts, i.e. below the triviality limit

Carcinogenics and substances that have either DNA-altering effects or are harmful to the reproductive system (CMRs), may only occur in small amounts, i.e. they      must be below the triviality limit

Only a certain group of approved preservatives may be used

No products contain hazardous substances that must be mentioned in the safety sheet

A safety sheet is available for each product

    No A-labelled product has a danger-certificate

Regarding CE-labelling:

Please note that hobby products with a play value for children below the age of 14 must be CE labelled.
An A-label and a CE label are two different types of certification. In order to qualify for CE labelling, manufacturers must comply with requirements on various documentation within the production process, and certain test requirements must be met regarding mechanical-physiological characteristics, inflammability and specific chemical substances (EN71-1, 2,3). CE labelled products must not contain harmful substances; however, the requirements are not as stringent as the above. An A-labelled product must meet the requirements to the ingredients, and these requirements are so stringent that they meet the chemical requirements in the legislation on toys.
